Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Cath Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist in Brooksville, Florida. This role involves performing procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, operating specialized equipment, and providing emergency patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

  • Required Qualifications: Graduate from school of Allied Health Services Radiologic or Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program; completion of 500 hours PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) certified working in a hospital with Open Heart Surgery program; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; RCIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification; Florida license required at time of submittal if ARRT; minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered radiologic technologist; no IVS, straight to manager.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Registry eligible candidates will require 1 year to obtain their Registry.
  • Additional Information: No locals—60-mile radius rule.
  • Responsibilities include training staff technologists, operating PACS computer systems, hemodynamic monitoring, documenting procedures, recording intra-cardiac/peripheral pressures, and managing interdepartmental communication. The population served ranges from pediatric to geriatric patients.
