- Location: The position is based in the Cardiology unit of an acute care facility.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch, typically dayshift, with a minimum of 38 hours per week.
- Certifications & Education: NY State License as an X-ray Technologist, certification to inject per section 89.40 of part 89, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or ARRT Registration, BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association), graduate from an accredited school of Radiology, and cardiovascular credentialing (CCI) (ARRT) or (RCIS).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cardiac Cath Technologist or X-ray Technologist, with at least 1 year in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch, 38 hours per week.
- Additional Requirements: On-call rotation for weekends, holidays, and standby, with possible on-call shifts.
- Responsibilities: Supporting interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures, operating imaging and diagnostic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to clinical protocols.
