Job Summary:
A Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is available in Brick, New Jersey. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves assisting with invasive cardiac procedures, managing hemodynamic monitoring, and supporting physicians during catheterization lab operations. The position is scheduled for day shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Job Details:
- Location: Brick, New Jersey
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 10 hours per shift, with minimum 40 hours per week
- Schedule notes: Holiday requirement, in 1 summer and 1 winter
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program, radiologic technologist program, or graduate of an applied science program; BLS (Basic Health Care Life Support) certification, Radiology certification, ARRT (Radiologic) State License; minimum 3 years experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory; permanent pacemaker placement experience preferred; usage of Impella and balloon pump required; proficiency with sterile operative techniques, computer skills (Microsoft Office or Google Suite), and hemodynamic monitoring; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications: Mac lab experience, EPIC system familiarity
- Additional Information: Must have recent certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 3 months of employment; must pass RCIS exam within 1 year of hire; on-call responsibilities as specified; ability to lift at least 40 lbs., push and pull at least 100 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 4 hours daily
