Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing duties related to cardiac catheterization procedures, including prepping rooms and patients, operating imaging equipment, and monitoring vital signs. The position requires on-call availability with scheduled weekday and weekend rotations.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, on call required; one weekday call weekly and one weekend a month, with 12 hours shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or related setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: RCIS certification is preferred but not required.
- Additional Information: Duties include prepping the room and patient using sterile technique, operating imaging equipment, and monitoring patient vital signs during procedures. Procedures performed include coronary, structural, chronically occluded-artery (CTO), mechanical circulatory support (MCS), and vascular interventions.
