Job Summary:
The Boston, Massachusetts, based Cardiac Catheterization Technologist is responsible for supporting the patient care team within the catheterization laboratory. This role involves performing specialized imaging and procedural support for cardiovascular interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week. Work may include weeknight, weekend, and holiday call during the contract, but no weekend or holiday worked shifts are guaranteed.
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic technologist, 1+ year traveler experience, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification with RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a high-volume Cath Lab with seven procedure rooms and a hybrid operating room. The lab handles over 30 cases daily, with a range from outpatient right heart catheterizations and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions. Epic is the primary charting system used, and hemodynamics are measured on the Siemens Sensis system.
