Job Summary:
A Cardiac Cath Technologist position is available in Bloomington, Illinois. Candidates are required to hold an active Illinois license and bring it on the first day. This role involves working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing procedures such as heart and peripheral catheterizations, with a focus on recent hands-on experience with relevant equipment.
Job Details:
- Location: Bloomington, Illinois
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 0700-1530, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT; recent experience with heart catheterizations and peripheral caths; experience with Philips equipment and McKesson EMR system preferred; minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips monitoring equipment, McKesson in labs, and BiPlane lab experience; ability to work in an acute care setting involving STEMI, NSTEMI, stroke patients, and related diagnoses
- Additional Information: On call 2-3 holidays per year, typically do not float, hospital scrubs provided, departmental orientation of 32 hours (4 shifts), candidates must submit last four digits of SSN, comply with OSF's drug-free campus policy, and produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
