Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Technologist position is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. The role involves working in the cardiac catheterization laboratory with a focus on procedures such as IV starts, scrubbing in, and fluoroscopy, among others. Candidates must bring their North Dakota Radiologic Technologist license on the first day of employment. The position requires working weekday shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with call responsibilities, including weeknight and weekend on-call duties.
Job Details:
- Schedule: M-F 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, plus call responsibilities, with shifts posted 17 days prior for a 6-week rotation.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), and North Dakota Radiologic Technologist license. Additionally, candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV starts and scrubbing in; familiarity with EPIC, Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, and 4-port manifold.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, especially for heart and vascular pre/post procedures.
- Additional Information: The technician will be responsible for charting via the EPIC system. Call response time is 20 minutes. The department operates in an acute care setting with trauma level 2 designation. In-house MD coverage is 24/7. The position includes one week of departmental orientation, both classroom and lab-based.
