Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a position in a Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory performing Heart, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This role involves assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system, monitoring patient physiology during cases, and supporting patient care before, during, and after procedures. The position requires adaptability to physician and case needs, along with adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 36 hours per week, with a work period starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/10/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT-R), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); minimum of 0 years of experience; location requirements as specified in the position; and relevant certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric or cardiac catheterization procedures is desirable.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting with room setup, patient transport, post-procedure clean-up, and patient education regarding post-procedure monitoring and catheter care. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of procedures, equipment handling, asepsis maintenance, and safety practices related to sharps and waste disposal.
