Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves supporting diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, structural heart procedures, and other specialized cardiac procedures within a high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab. The role requires a focus on patient safety, clinical excellence, and adherence to unit policies to contribute to the hospital’s recognition for quality care.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist or equivalent, with either RCIS or ARRT credential. Must have a recent minimum of one year of experience in cardiac cath lab procedures, including PICC line placement experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic and interventional heart catheters, structural heart procedures, and familiarity with X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, Istat, Avox equipment.
- Responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining patient safety, and following clinical protocols.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a valid certification and experience in cardiac cath lab procedures.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to start on or around 10/26/2026 and stay through the end date of 01/25/2027.
