Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in a cardiac catheterization lab located within a healthcare facility. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures, with a focus on patient care and technical procedures. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care and patient safety during procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Location: Cardiac Cath Lab within a healthcare facility, located at 509 Biltmore Ave, 2nd Floor, K Tower.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, and current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, structural heart procedures, and familiarity with X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, ISTAT, and AVOX equipment.
- Responsibilities: Support diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate specialized equipment, assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care, and maintain sterile technique according to unit guidelines.
- Additional Information: Floating is not required. Candidates should adhere to the unit's dress code of surgical green scrubs and follow all unit policies and guidelines. The position is on a 3-month assignment, beginning 09/27/2026 and ending 12/27/2026.
