Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) — Anchorage, AK
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist provides support for diagnostic and interventional procedures in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath and Interventional Cardiac Cath environment, including STEMI-related and structural heart services. The role requires completion of assigned shifts, weekend coverage, and on-call responsibilities as scheduled. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: 4x10 Days; 10 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week; one shift per week and every 4th weekend; some Saturdays may be required as part of the 4 scheduled shifts for the week, with every 4th weekend on call.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); ARRT (R) or RCIS; valid state license (allowed to submit with a pending license, taking 10–12 weeks); experience requirements as stated in the job posting (2 years).
- Preferred Qualifications: CTOP; peripherals; venous access; rhythm interpretation; Philips X-Ray system; variety of atherectomy devices; variety of thrombectomy devices; temporary LVAD support; familiarity with McKesson for Cath Lab; MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic cardiac cath and interventional cardiac cath procedures, supporting electrophysiology (EP) lab needs, and performing/supporting procedures aligned to listed skills and equipment. Holiday coverage is required for 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year). The healthcare provider will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed. First timers are accepted.
