Ready to help young adults thrive and prepare for the future? Cross Country Education is looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide critical communication and transition support for high school students in Lawndale, CA for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Overview: 

  • Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to identify communication needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to high school students, both individually and in small group settings.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals while maintaining accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational staff to support student success and ensure compliance with applicable special education regulations.

Qualifications: 

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Valid CTC Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential
  • Prior experience providing speech-language services in a school-based setting (Preferred)
