Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Lawndale, CA, to provide individualized behavioral support, encourage positive student development, and help students thrive throughout the school day.
Position Overview
- Provide individualized behavioral support to students, implementing established behavior intervention strategies and maintaining consistent classroom routines during a temporary maternity leave coverage assignment.
- Support the schools Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) by assisting with behavioral interventions and promoting positive student outcomes.
- Develop and prepare instructional and behavioral support materials tailored to student needs.
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience supporting student behavior in a school setting preferred
