Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) — Frye Regional Medical Center, located in North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Surgical Tech to join the operating room team. Job Details
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) certification, high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of surgical tech experience, and valid certifications as applicable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedics or neuro surgeries is preferred.
- Responsibilities: Assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environment, handling surgical instruments and equipment, and supporting clinical staff.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 11/16/2026, with a projected end date of 02/15/2027.
- Additional Information: The unit comprises 13 beds, with a patient-to-tech ratio of 1:1. The role involves working with advanced surgical equipment such as robotics (Davinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table. Relevant experience with multiple specialties, including orthopedics or neurosurgery, is preferred.
