Job Summary
Xray Technologist located in the healthcare environment, responsible for performing quality imaging procedures in accordance with established standards. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts across all days of the week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, on a rotating schedule.
Job Details
- Position description: Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the healthcare provider's Radiology Department. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
- Contract duration: 13 weeks, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/24/2027.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
- Certification/Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited radiography program. Certifications required include ARRT R and BLS.
- Experience requirements: 0 years.
- Required skills: General radiology, diagnostic X-ray, surgical experience, competence in a variety of equipment and technology, safety guidelines, ability to work independently, effective communication, organized, efficient, multi-functional, excellent interpersonal skills.
- Additional information: Must be organized, efficient, and multi-functional with the ability to work independently and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. General radiology, diagnostic (X-ray), and surgical experience required.
