Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) – Bradenton, FL. This position involves providing therapy services within a Level II Trauma Center and acute care hospital setting. The role supports a dynamic team to deliver comprehensive inpatient occupational therapy to a diverse patient population, with a focus on stroke/neuro and general rehabilitation needs.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Occupational Therapy license, active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and completion of 0 years of experience are required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and adaptive device management on an inpatient rehabilitation and acute care unit.
- Highly preferred: Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience, stroke/neuro experience.
- Candidates must have weekend flexibility and be willing to work on the inpatient rehab unit.
- Additional requirements include a willingness to work at least one weekend per month and supporting patient care needs on the unit.
