Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician for a position in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures within a busy OR surgical services unit, supporting various specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, neuro, and robotics. The candidate will contribute to a dynamic surgical team in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital environment.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must have appropriate licensure in the state of New Hampshire.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: The role requires working holidays and rotating weekends and on-call duties.
- Preferred Skills: Experience in orthopedics, neuro, trauma, general surgery, and robotics is advantageous.
- Unit Information: The team supports 7 OR suites performing a wide variety of procedures including orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, plastics, neuro, and robotics.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must hold valid licensure and certification offered prior to submission.
