Job Summary:
Xray Technologist in the specialty of Radiology is needed in a healthcare facility setting. The position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and C-arm imaging. This role supports the imaging department’s operations, ensuring quality patient care through precise and effective imaging practices.
Job Details:
- Certifications required: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support); Valid WV State License.
- Education: Certification in Radiologic Technology, minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology imaging.
- Location requirements: Candidates must have an address outside 50 miles from the facility.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in radiology imaging procedures.
- Responsibilities include performing approximately 400 scans or studies daily, operating imaging equipment such as GE, Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms.
- Experience or skills in C-arm and fluoroscopy procedures are required.
- The position involves working in a fast-paced environment without floating to other areas.
- Department-specific equipment includes Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms.
- Use of EPIC Electronic Medical Record and PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System).
- Department operates 24/7 with an in-house radiologist and residents.
- Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and call as required.
- Must submit valid, unexpired driver's license and proof of radiology certifications; willingness to wait for license verification is necessary.
