Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking an Ultrasound Technician/General Sonographer for a position in a 60-bed facility. This role involves performing ultrasound procedures and providing diagnostic imaging services based on physician orders, with responsibilities tailored to a general sonography specialty.
Job Details:
- Position Description: Ultrasound Tech/General Sonographer — 12-hour days, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with call responsibilities during the same shift hours.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS), minimum of 2 years of related experience, prior travel experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and available for orientation on 11/9, 11/16, and 11/30. Must have a valid RDMS certification on file at the time of submission. Must be able to pass N95 testing.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position requires working two of three holidays and performing ultrasound procedures with proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Epic. Scrubs required are royal blue. No floating is required. IVS to interview; manager will extend an offer.
