Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart, Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital. This position involves supporting complex cardiovascular operating room procedures, including first and second scrub roles for CVOR cases. The role requires active experience with complicated and complex CVOR surgeries and the ability to handle demanding clinical environments.
Job Details
- Location: Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital, 3186 S Maryland Parkway, 1st floor, Main Hospital.
- Shift Time: Days
- Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position Description: Requires proven experience with CVOR cases, including bypass and ECMO, and first and second scrub roles. Candidates must demonstrate competence with advanced surgical equipment such as O-ARM and advanced microscopes.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), active experience with complicated and complex CVOR cases, and experience with first and second scrub roles.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working days with rotation for on-call and weekends, approximately 3 on-call shifts per week and 2 on-call weekends per month.
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting procedures such as CABG, Carotid Endarterectomy, Structural Heart Repair, and Congenital Defects (VSD, PFO). The ideal candidate is tough, strong-willed, and able to handle a high-stress environment.
