Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider Card; graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals; 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Days shift from 07:30 AM to 08:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday, with one weekend of on-call (Friday-Sunday) per month; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Follows radiation safety guidelines in accordance with ALARA principles, and complies with hospital, departmental, and safety policies and procedures. Maintains current licensure, supports department projects and goals, and promotes departmental team efforts. Assists with clinical education of student technologists and collaborates effectively with the imaging team and other disciplines. Demonstrates flexibility, accountability, and initiative to improve departmental operations.
- Responsibilities include instructing and preparing patients, obtaining informed consent, ensuring accurate documentation, and communicating effectively with radiologists and patients. Maintains strict confidentiality and projects a professional appearance.
