Job Summary
A Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is available at a healthcare organization located in the Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory. This role involves supporting a variety of interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterization, angiography, peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement, venography, and cardiac pacemaker insertions. The technologist will provide services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Job Details
- Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) — Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Shift: Rotating shifts, 12 hours each
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with a schedule that includes on-call duties and one full weekend each month
- Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), RCIS, ACLS (AHA) certifications; high school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of cath lab experience; location requirements as applicable; no minimum experience listed
- Responsibilities: Performing and assisting with cardiac catheterizations, angiographies, peripheral angioplasty procedures, venographies, and pacemaker insertions. Providing support during non-vascular interventional procedures, inpatient, and outpatient services. Ensuring patient safety and maintaining equipment
- Submission Requirements: Certification documentation and confirmation of availability for scheduled shifts and on-call duties
