Anesthesia Technologist in Valley Stream, NY. This role involves supporting anesthesiology services within a facility that manages up to 30 cases daily, including orthopedic and robotic specialties. The position includes assisting with anesthesia equipment and ensuring clinical operations run smoothly.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: Dayshift from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Anesthesia Technologist by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT); a minimum of 1 year of experience; familiarity with Drager and Mindray anesthesia machines, Sonosite, Belmont rapid transfuser, glidescope, Philips monitors, and Alaris pumps. Valid BLS certification.
- Responsibilities: Supporting anesthesia procedures in a busy operating room environment; operating and maintaining anesthesia equipment; assisting with robotic and orthopedic surgeries; and floating into endoscopy and interventional radiology areas as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: More than 2 years of experience; hospital scrubs provided by the hospital.
