- Position Description: Responsible for conducting laboratory tests in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements and approved department procedures.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, a related science field, or equivalent experience; Certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred; 0 years of experience required; Location unspecified; Shift: Nights; Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Perform complex laboratory procedures, recognize deviations, analyze and correct issues using scientific principles; operate instruments per established protocols, conduct preventive and corrective maintenance; evaluate new testing methodologies and contribute to technical procedure documentation; assist with departmental inventory; maintain clinical competency through ongoing education and reading relevant journal articles.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of laboratory operations, computerized document systems, and strong technical skills.
