Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) — This position is based in a healthcare facility and involves supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures. The role requires expertise in scrub and monitoring duties within a multidisciplinary lab environment, focusing on structural heart, diagnostic, and therapeutic coronary and peripheral procedures.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Days, 8 hours per day, with a schedule of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Qualifications: Certifications include BLS and ACLS. The candidate must have a degree in related fields such as BA, BS, BSN, or AA, or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience is required.
- Responsibilities: Perform scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catherization equipment, support patients undergoing invasive procedures, and adapt to multiple and changing priorities. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Additional Information: Must be able to scrub and pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies, with experience in other specialties considered a plus. The candidate must be able to live at least 50 miles away from the facility.
