Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in San Antonio, TX. This position involves providing therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The role requires collaboration with a team to support patient recovery through evaluation and treatment of activities of daily living and other rehabilitation procedures.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for data collection and delivering therapy in a 32-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit staffed by approximately 35 therapists and 50 nurses.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Location in San Antonio, TX. Minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment is scheduled to start on 11/16/2026 and end on 02/15/2027.
- Additional Information: Knowledge of inpatient rehab procedures such as Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and evaluations is necessary. Candidates should be outgoing, flexible, and team-oriented. Open to working on weekends (minimum of 2 every 4 weeks).
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous inpatient rehab experience and availability to work on weekends are considered advantageous.
