Anesthesia Technologist - Location: not specified. This position involves providing specialized support in anesthesia procedures across various units within the healthcare facility. The role requires flexibility to float between units and on-call availability during nights and weekends to ensure optimal patient care.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 1 year of anesthesia tech experience required, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission).
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Experience in anesthesia tech duties including assisting anesthesia providers in critical situations, operating room safety, documentation of procedures, and equipment troubleshooting. Skilled in anesthesia machine checks, intubations, IV and arterial line insertions, patient positioning, and patient transport. Proficiency in charting systems such as Epic is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a community hospital setting.
- Responsibilities: Support in operating room and emergency intubations, trauma procedures, and patient monitoring with standard monitors and transport equipment; ensure safety and infection control protocols.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to prior work at Providence facilities and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
