Job Details
- Location: The position is based in an inpatient healthcare setting serving a diverse patient population.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled on days, with weekend coverage rotating approximately 2-3 days per month. No self-scheduling.
- Required Qualifications: AZ Physical Therapist license in good standing, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience outside of clinicals, with a solid understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication.
- Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services for cases including total joints, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and sepsis. Engage in interdisciplinary communication and contribute to patient recovery plans within the acute inpatient environment.
