Job Summary:
Xray Technologist – Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment within a Level III Trauma Center. The role entails performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoro and general X-ray exams, in a busy hospital setting with a diverse patient population across all age ranges.
Job Details:
- Position Description: SLMC - Rad. The facility features a Level III Trauma Center, NICU, Magnet Designation, and a Primary Stroke Center with 636 beds.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, Wisconsin licensure, BLS certification, 0 years of experience, and surgical/procedure and general imaging skills.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoro procedures such as ERCPs, bronchoscopies, and pain clinic procedures; comfort with OR cases including ortho, general, and spines; familiarity with O-arm technology.
- Additional Information: This position includes a 7-day orientation in the department, weekend rotation every other week, and one call shift per week. Holiday work is required once per contract. Scrubs are provided, and parking is free. The unit maintains a high-paced, high-acuity culture.
