Job Details
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP - Speech Language Pathologist) – Inpatient
- Location: Corpus Christi, TX
- Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, 0 years minimum experience, current licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Texas, eligible to work in the United States
- Additional Information: Candidate must be team-oriented and energetic. Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience and CARE scoring experience are preferred but not mandatory. The unit includes a 15-bed inpatient rehab setting with a team of 20 staff members, utilizing Meditech electronic medical records. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, treatments, and speech therapy procedures such as MBS for swallowing therapy. Weekly schedule includes at least 2 weekend days, with follow-up on policies and procedures as needed.
