Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) – Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, Bethel, AK. Job Details
- Position Type: Full-time, Days shift
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 32 hours per week
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree, Location, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program; licensed in good standing in Alaska or with a valid license from another state and pending licensure in Alaska; current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT); current BLS certification; 1 year of clinical experience preferred but not required.
- Additional Responsibilities: Providing occupational therapy care in hospital-based and village settings, including use of standard equipment such as hi-lo tables, therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound, and electric stimulation modalities.
- Equipment/Tools: Office equipment, including computers, telephones, fax machines, and copy machines.
- Special Knowledge and Skills: Strong ability to interpret occupational therapy literature, prepare patient care documentation, and communicate effectively across cultures and professional teams.
- Certifications: Current BLS, NBCOT Certification, Alaska state license or pending licensure if applicable.
