Job Summary
CT Technologist – Healthcare Facility, Albany. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans independently, primarily for emergency room patients, with a focus on all CT exams excluding virtual colons and cardiac studies. The position requires proficiency in using Siemens Definition scanners and Epic PACS systems, providing critical imaging services during night shifts.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, NYS License, NYS License to inject, CPR certification, 2+ years of experience, able to independently scan and perform various CT exams for ER patients.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift from 6 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The midnight technologist works alone from 10 PM to 7 AM, assisted by an imaging aide for patient transport and movement during overnight hours. Experience with Siemens Definition scanners, Epic PACS, and Visage is required for submission.
