- Position: Blood Bank Medical Technologist (MT)
- Location: Medical Labs – Blood Bank at a healthcare organization in Gainesville, FL
- Assignment Dates: 11/16/2026 to 02/13/2027
- Schedule: 10-Hour Nights, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 40 hours/week
- Certification required at submission: MT (ASCP or AMT), Florida License Immunohematology Technologist
- Minimum qualifications include: a minimum of 2 years of experience in blood bank, recent clinical experience with no gaps over 180 days, experience in high complexity transfusion service, and Level 1 trauma experience.
- Must be able to multitask and cross-train.
- No work history gaps greater than 30 days without explanation.
- The candidate must meet the specific facility and EMR submission requirements, including references and dress code.
- Orientation will be on dayshift for 2 weeks.
- The role requires working variable days and may involve floating.
- Holidays and weekends are required.
- No local candidate restrictions apply as there is a 50-mile radius rule.
