Job Details
- Position Description: The physical therapist evaluates and treats patients, maintains and updates skills and certifications, and communicates with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with ability to evaluate and treat patients, supervise staff, and communicate effectively. Ability to work independently in an outpatient/rehabilitation setting, with computer skills including electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Work schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Continuing education courses in relevant specialties.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be physically mobile, capable of prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, assisting patient transfers, and supporting mobility needs. They should be familiar with billing policies such as Medicare, private insurance, auto, liens, and cash pay, including proficiency in diagnosis and ICD-10 coding. The position includes supervising PT Assistants and Aides and following HIPAA, OSHA, and privacy policies.
