Job Summary
Radiation Therapist – RTT – Location unspecified. This role involves delivering external beam radiation therapy treatments utilizing Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines. The position requires experienced professionals to support a radiation oncology department with a focus on patient care and treatment procedures.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, minimum 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery, Oregon Board of Medical Imaging licensure, proficiency in operating Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines, and scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Schedule: Rotating shift with regular weekday hours (Monday to Friday); some flexibility for treatment needs or machine downtime may be required.
- Additional Information: Therapists will not work alone on treatment machines; two therapists operate each machine. The role includes performing CT scans and participating in department-specific training and orientation, typically lasting 3 to 5 days for experienced therapists. The department operates under a business casual dress code with scrubs and no open-toed shoes.
- Submission Requirements: Licensure to submit and valid ARRT and BLS certifications are required. The position is available from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027.
