Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Specialist position available in Illinois. This role involves providing expert care during high-acuity pediatric cardiovascular procedures, supporting the organization’s cardiac surgery team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be highly skilled and experienced in pediatric cardiovascular surgery.
Job Details
- Certifications: CPR, PALS, BSN.
- Education Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Location Requirement: Valid Illinois permanent license.
- Experience Requirement: 2+ years of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience; previous travel experience is required—this is not suitable for first-time travelers.
- Schedule: Dayshift shift hours, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Position Description: Must have current Illinois permanent license, be available for a Monday start, and possess previous pediatric CVOR experience working with high-acuity cardiovascular procedures.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with Epic EMR; scrub experience in high-acuity pediatric cardiovascular procedures is required.
