CT Technologist, CT Specialty, on Night Shift — This healthcare organization seeks a dedicated CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to perform imaging procedures utilizing computerized tomography scanner technology. The role involves producing high-quality radiographs under the supervision of certified radiologists, assisting with procedures, and supervising student technologists to support patient diagnosis and care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals preferred; successful completion of an accredited Computed Tomography Program preferred; registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certified by SCRQSA; current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card; 0 years of experience minimum.
- Schedule: Nights, 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 pm to 7:30 am.
- Additional Information: Responsible for patient safety and care during imaging, following established protocols and directions from radiologists. Maintains good communication with patients and their families, ensures proper documentation, and adheres to safety policies and radiation protection guidelines. Assists in clinical education and continuously seeks process improvements. Handles frequent lifting, standing, and exposure to healthcare hazards, including radiation and infectious materials.
