Job Summary
CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in Tuolumne County. This position involves operating radiologic, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography equipment within a healthcare facility. The role supports departmental objectives and helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to achieve operational goals. The technologist will perform at least three modalities regularly.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification in the state of practice, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification in CA and HI, proficiency in at least one modality from computed tomography, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, sonography, or positron emission tomography, and facility-specific Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, Master's Degree, three years' technical experience.
- Additional Information: Performs various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and ultrasound examinations. Safely transports and transfers patients, tests defibrillator, checks crash cart, performs mobile imaging, prepares contrast agents, and executes other related duties as assigned.
