Job Summary
Outpatient Physical Therapist – PT OP – Location: unspecified. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician directives. The therapist will be responsible for delegation of therapy services, designing functional treatment programs, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and team members. The position emphasizes patient safety, compliance, and professional development in a clinical outpatient setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; active applicable license for the state where work will be performed; successful completion of a prior assignment with the agency or organization is preferred; minimum experience required: 0 years.
- Position Responsibilities: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops and implements treatment plans with clinical reasoning, and documents medical records accurately and timely. Ensures care is provided under signed physician orders and within insurance approval. Participates in student education, maintains professional licensure and adherence to state practice acts, and contributes to performance improvement initiatives.
