Vascular Sonographer – Winston Salem, NC. This outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic seeks a qualified vascular sonographer to perform dedicated vascular ultrasound examinations. The role involves supporting diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages, utilizing specialized equipment, and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality vascular assessments.
Job Details
- Position Description: Conducting vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid, upper/lower extremity arteries and veins, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aorta, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, iliac veins, arterial bypass grafts, and related assessments.
- Certifications & Education Requirements: US Tech (Vascular) certification, BLS certification; ARDMS RVT or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).
- Location Requirements: No state licensure required.
- Experience: Minimum of 0 years in vascular ultrasound.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Support within the department includes collaboration with leadership and peers. The department utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and Philips Epic Elite, Parks PVR/Segmental Pressures machines. Department culture emphasizes teamwork and is traveler friendly. Floating: Float rotation may be required to High Point outpatient lab. Department orientation lasts 3 days.
