Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Polysomnographer in the healthcare field for a primary location. This role involves performing sleep studies and related procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment plans for patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position offers an opportunity to work in a clinical environment dedicated to specialized sleep disorder testing and analysis.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, RRT, SDS, RPSGT or RRT w/SDS; must have Respiratory Care Practitioners License
- Education/Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Polysomnographer with skills in End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Sleep Polysomnography, PSG scoring, and Respiratory Event analysis
- Location Requirements: Valid state license, including a compact license, in-hand at submission; local radius of 50 miles
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Start date: 11/16/2026, end date: 02/15/2027
- Responsibilities include performing sleep studies, operating specialized equipment such as Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units, and adhering to clinical procedures for sleep disorder testing
- Additional information: Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at a Providence facility and submit 2 references covering the last 1 year during the compliance process
