Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) — The organization is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for an inpatient assignment in a 407-bed acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized Occupational Therapy services within an acute hospital setting, focusing on diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics. The position offers the opportunity to support patient recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; NBCOT certification; valid AK OT License; at least 1 year of experience; incumbents must be able to work the specified schedule.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Records, especially Epic; prior community hospital or LTAC experience is advantageous.
- Responsibilities: Performing evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing patient and family education, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
- Additional Information: Willingness to work weekends (2 days per month). No float requirements specified.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to questions about prior work at Providence facilities, provide two references covering at least one year within the past three years, and demonstrate compliance with credentialing guidelines.
