Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT OP) — located in an outpatient setting, this role involves providing comprehensive therapy to patients with diverse needs. Job Details
- Position Description: Evaluates assigned patients, develops and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directives. Responsible for delegation and supervision of therapy services for assigned patients. Ensures the design of effective, functional treatment programs supporting patients' safe and timely return to community activities. Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues.
- Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience, CPR certification, and 6 months desired experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Conducts comprehensive evaluations, utilizes clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans, ensures documentation accuracy, and maintains compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Participates in student programs and professional development activities. Handles patient care under signed, valid physician orders and insurance guidelines.
- Additional Information: Promotes safety and adheres to all clinic safety policies including patient handling, infectious disease control, slips/trips, and falls prevention. Follows organizational performance improvement strategies and maintains professional licensure in good standing.
