Operating Room (OR) Nurse, Gainesville, FL — This position involves providing specialized circulating nursing care within a multi-specialty outpatient surgical center. The role requires delivering high-quality perioperative support for adult and pediatric procedures, supporting a team in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Education Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) license with a current FL or compact license.
- Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience as an RN, with prior travel experience preferred. Must have strong circulating experience in orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, trauma, urology, and pediatric surgery. Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM with variable start times.
- Additional information: All new RN starts must pass specialty-specific and EKG tests, including identifying lethal rhythms. Influenza vaccination is mandatory, with proof required before employment. No call, no weekends, no major holidays, and no late shifts.
