Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - SNF - Texas
This position involves providing therapeutic interventions under the supervision of licensed physical therapists in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role focuses on treating patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other modalities, while accurately recording progress and reporting outcomes to the supervising therapist. The assignment is slated to begin on November 9, 2026, and conclude on February 8, 2027.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: 2 years PTA experience required, valid Texas or compact license required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists in delivering patient care through various therapeutic interventions. Document patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit proof of two years PTA experience and valid licensure at the time of application.
