Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) RN position available in a healthcare organization in the region. The role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have OR experience, be licensed in the state, and be prepared to start immediately. The position requires flexibility with shift hours and availability for interview scheduling.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour days with call, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 4 years of experience in Operating Room; demonstrated working knowledge of all principles of aseptic techniques; technical skills to operate complex surgical equipment including endoscopic, laser, ENT, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, neuro, general, thoracic, urology, and vascular procedures; BLS certification required; COVID-19 vaccination including booster and influenza vaccination required (medical exemption acceptable).
- Preferred Qualifications: Robotic surgery experience noted on file; neuro experience considered a bonus.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have current O.R. experience with travel background in similar surgical settings. Testing for ECG/Tele, medication, dysrhythmia, and medication tests will be administered via Zoom prior to acceptance, with a passing score of 85%. Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer. Only candidates who have not worked at the organization within the last six months and reside more than 50 miles from the facility will be considered.
