Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nursehi specialist position in a high-volume, Level I trauma surgical environment. The role involves providing direct patient care in various surgical procedures including transplant, neuro, spine, orthopedic trauma, robotics, ENT, GYN, and urology within a facility focusing on inpatient surgical services. The position requires working night shifts and supporting a team dedicated to complex operative cases.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid OR nursing license, experience in transplant, trauma, neuro, spine, robotics, and general surgery. Candidates must have prior scrub and/or circulate experience in general surgery, robotics, transplants, orthopedics, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), gynecology, urology, trauma, and organ procurement. Candidates must have worked in areas involving kidney transplants, neuro, spine, and trauma cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgery and inpatient Level I trauma operating environments.
- Additional Information: This is a primary night shift role with no call requirements. No local travelers will be accepted, as candidates must reside beyond 50 miles from the facility. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. All candidates must provide availability for an interview upon submission. RTO (reduced time off) requests must be submitted at the time of application.
