Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in a Level 1 trauma center. This position involves providing acute care for patients with medical emergencies and traumatic injuries in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department. The role requires a highly experienced nurse with both triage and trauma experience to deliver critical care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and 2 holiday shifts.
- Required Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years of experience, Level 1 trauma experience, triage training, current or very recent triage experience, Epic electronic health record system experience, BLS/ACLS American Heart Association (AHA) certification, and Massachusetts (MA) license.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The position is a 13 or 26-week contract, with an emphasis on experienced, highly skilled nurses. The Emergency Department features 44 beds, advanced facilities, and complete computerized charting. Candidates must be separated from the healthcare provider for at least 6 months to be eligible.
