- Position Description: Performs specialized examinations of the breast to assist in diagnosing and treating breast disease. Operates specialized equipment, completes all required procedures, and acts as a competent clinician providing effective clinical care.
- Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology; Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — Radiography (ARRT-R); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — Mammography (ARRT-M); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Schedule: Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Completes patient education while promoting privacy and comfort. Performs diagnostic or screening mammograms as ordered. Assists radiologists with intricate mammography procedures, including breast biopsies, and produces high-quality films for evaluation. Ensures proper documentation, transmits patient information, and adheres to infection control and safety guidelines. Elevates any issues or challenges for senior staff resolution. Must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
