Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing position is located in a healthcare facility that provides specialized patient care. This role involves working in a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including days and nights every other weekend. The candidate will be expected to float between ICU and intermediate care units as needed. The position requires adherence to hospital protocols and active participation in weekly orientation sessions.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend (days/nights).
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA); at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting; recent experience with cardiothoracic surgery patients and devices such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella; must have been separated from the organization for at least 6 months; experience in intensive care unit (ICU) nursing; EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency; must work in scrubs of any color.
